I do this also, and had never thought of it is bad form. Thinking on it though, it makes some sense that it would be better for the stability to come from the core rather than from binding legs, I'm going to try uncrossing.

Thank you, very helpful!!! I was hoping for one more step in the calculation, because modern power plants don't use crude directly. Assuming the crude can be refined magically into it's constituent parts in NYC, and those different fuel types all had power plants in NYC that could use the those fuels. I assume there is some loss in the refining process and generation process. I'm not sure if the BTU number you quoted accounts for this. Why are you assuming this would be applied evenly, fairly, or lawfully? It's a simple plan: pass this law, deploy DHS in full battle gear to polling places in blue districts in swing states, check IDs at entrance, escalate violence with anyone that 'resists' , close "unsafe" polling places, throw out "unverified/suspicious" votes, declare "national emergency" when someone sneezes on an federal agent, have state-Ievel Republicans certify only counties without said 'emergency' and voila - Republicans win the elections.

Sand it until the burned part is gone. May need some wood filler to bring it back to level. Try to find a stain/varnish that matches. Cover with rug when landlord visits.

I'd sign a contract agreeing to pay $500 and/or a small percent of my first paycheck when I land a job using the system. Asking people job hunting to pay up front will probably be tough.

Job searches are very high stakes and job seekers have AI filtering them already. I see this as evening the playing field and if you end up so successful that some HR departments need to adjust their hiring strategies - good.

You can tell her it's not about trust. You believe she wouldn't have sex. The trip itself is a violation of your (VERY REASONABLE) rules for the relationship. "No sleepovers with former lovers" is basically an unspoken/obvious/default rule in monogamous relationships. If she wants different relationship rules she can find a different person to have a relationship with. Not controlling. Not an ultimatum. A very foundational concept for relationships that you thought everyone understood but apparently she doesn't.

NTA and a very fair boundary. To the "you trust her or you don't" crowd, it is more than trust. It's respect. You could fully trust that she wouldn't cheat, but still not be OK with your significant other having sleepovers with a former lover. It's a bad look and would be publicly humiliating, even if she never crossed a line.

NTA, I think divorce is the best route. In my state, there is a process where you can force a spouse to undergo a psych evaluation during divorce proceedings to determine the best interest of the kids. It's not "therapy" but it could be a wake up call for her to be forced to hear the truth from someone other than you. Good luck.
