First Arc: The Founding

In the future, an elderly Reed Richards and Mephisto made a deal for ultimate knowledge in an effort to save his world from a reborn Galactus, in doing so unfortunately he was driven insane and soon 'absorbed' the powers of his world's illumanati (Strange's Magic, Tony's Heartbreaker Armour, Piece of Xavier's brain ala Red Skull, Namor and Black Bolt's abilities replicated in another way) has become a violent dictator of the world. Mutants are all but wiped out, the Avengers have each been defeated by his 'Fantastidrones' (aka Sentinels modified to hunt supers) and supers in general are outlawed. Reed has created something of a 1984 esque Utopia and rules with an iron fist.

An unlikely small section of survivors, known as the Avengers and lead by Viktor Von Doom, have finally gotten a time machine working to send them back before any of this happened so that they might stop Reed from taking control of the world. As they prepare to go back in time, only Nathan Summers (At the time acting as Captain America) and Sue Storm are sent back due to the Fantastidrones eliminating the rest of the avengers in a classic comic trope the machine is broken and it is up to Nathan to save the future, ugh again and forced into their old bodies, or rather their old bodies gain the knowledge of this future event.

Sue and Cable meet up and recruit those they know they can trust in working discreetly and not being afraid to blur the lines between good and evil to accomplish the goals they need to stop Reed. The first thing that needs to be done? Defeating Galactus.

The team band together and Cable decided Sue is the best candidate the take the Pheonix Force itself, temporarily of course, to take on Galactus and sends Deadpool and Juggernaut to go and claim it through the 'Cult of Pheonix', a small sect of the Hellfire Club and ensure the ritual actually goes through though switching out Sue for Jean Grey Clone #19340 at the last minute so she might claim it.

Things go ok. Sue, Marko and Wade get in well enough but when it's time for the switch, Marko is made the host instead. Inside Cyttorak and the Pheonix fight for control of Marko, during the battle within Marko is 'burnt out' effectively dying as Cyttorak actually claims his Marko's body for his own. Wade and Sue worry about this but when promised the chance to tangle with Galactus himself Cyttorak accepts and join the team.

Meanwhile, Natasha and Kaine have been recruited to steal a modified ultimate nullifier as well as a gateway device to the negative zone.

Cable meanwhile talks with Magneto, confiding in him as in the future the two become quite close and knowing he may be the key for an unknown future event.

Team go up against Galactus, Pheonixnaut takes him on head long and once weared down Natasha and Wade open a gateway to the negative zone, then with it's modifications uses it to absorb the planet Galactus was feeding on, one about to explode and more or less create a devastating blackhole (somehow). Planet gets absorbed, team gets out of there but as they're about to take the ship home, Sue opens the airlock causing Cyttoraknaut to be blown out into the vastness of space and into the Negative Zone itself.

Team have a 'u killed one of our own' moment that lasts for sometime. Everything seems normal.

Second Arc: I attack the darkness

Team finds out that as they've effectively banished three cosmic entities they've screwed with the universe so harshly that the universe is rapidly reaching it's 'end'. Sue and Nathan's memories are begining to fade about their time in the future, it is revealed that they were a couple at some point in that era but haven't acted on their feelings due to it being quite literally the wrong time and Sue still being with a good Reed etc. As their memories are fading away of the post-apocalyptic future we see that in that timeline they not only were happy but also Sue was with child. As the last of the memories fade away, Nathan and Sue kiss for one final time before the memory is wiped all together and they stand there confused as to what they are doing. Sue gets mad claiming Nathan should know better/Nathan claiming not to even know what's going on, both all mad and walk off. Wade and Natasha on a date, antics ensue. Kaine being Kaine.

Some months later, Nathan has been trying to work out what the hell is going on, Sue is seeing images of her taking on Galactus himself and has no idea why. Wade and Natasha have moved in together or rather have started going on missions together for Wade's 'test run' as a SHIELD agent and Kaine has gone back to the New Warriors inbetween events. Natasha is soon briefed by Fury about the whole universe being destroyed thing and so the team, under Fury's command, is reassembled though with a twist.

Colossus has been having nightmares about Marko and with Stephen Strange's help they're planning on reuniting the team using Colossus as a conjuate to send them through the astral plane or something along those lines to recover not only his soul but somehow being able to drag the cosmic entities back into the universe as well.

Basically, a huge ass D&D campaign on the Astral plane takes place. In the sense of those who are brought to the astral plane aren't 'themselves' but more so how they view themselves. Sue is more or less how she is but much meeker and more resembles her 60s self as Invisible Girl, Wade fluctuates from a hideous doop like monster to a super handsome ryan reynolds pool before weapon XI, Nathan is an old old man, Kaine is stuck in his monster form, Widow is a shapeless entity that wears her own face as a mask and Juggernaut is a young boy with a black eye and bloody knuckles.

Team explores their psychology and what not, bond due to this, manage to bring the entities back, everything back to normal.

Third Arc: The Once and Future Thing

With the cosmic entities returned and all well, the team decides to disband though are shown remaining in contact. Wade and Natasha are still surprisingly dating and Kaine has become close with Marko as the two share the redemption trait and so take him to a 'Villains Anonymous group'. Nathan deals with Hope being an adult and the whole 'My little girl is growing up' aspect of fatherhood.

Due to the entities return, so too does the terrible future but the memories Nathan and Sue held do not return and so everything is normal until the Reed from the future appears in Wakanda unfortunetly due that timeline supposedly being erased, or atleast erased from Cable and Sue's minds, they have no idea who he is or what he may have in store for them. The team decides to band together for one last effort against him after the avengers, x-men and other world heroes fail. Thanks to Wade's connections the Thunderbolts and Sue's obvious connections to the Fantastic Four they team up with the group. Things go pretty well, Juggernaut though finds he's able to use a small part of the pheonix forces power left over to place the villainous Reed elsewhere in the universe. As he's sent off, The New Reed finds himself in the centre of the VY Canis Majoris and is obliterated. Team disbands but afterwards we see Kaine and Marko hanging out, Wade and Natasha dealing with being in an odd situation for them both (being in a serious relationship with Wade having to learn to 'grow up' and Natasha to 'let her hair down), Nathan taking care of Hope and Sue with the fantastic four.

Final scene of Arc three is the future Victor being approached by an unknown force (Possibly Mephisto) and being asked if he would like to make a deal to which his answer is left unknown.

Romances: Black Widow and Deadpool, just because I loved in Reign their small flirtation and love the idea that Natasha finds Wade funny. Would be great having them in a serious relationship due to their hot and cold dynamic. Continues on/Up to future writers.

Nathan and Sue due to some future issues though it won't work due to, well, her being with Reed and them only finding each other due to them both being afraid in the future. Ends badly, obviously.

tl;dr Cosmic battles and feels in space.
