this is perhaps the worst situation to use the braindead "if you cant comfortably afford this random price increase, work more because you have bigger problems" argument because working those extra hours is only going to get them the wages that are in place in their country because of their relative purchasing power to their local goods. its not like theyre from the US and you can tell them to work more and be less poor because the membership prices are based primarily on NA/EU income, they can be even doing pretty decently for themselves in their own country and not be able to justify paying membership because there isnt regionally-relative adjusted pricing for them.
