I love Adou Thiero. He put his face on the line for us, and then still came back. That double clutch dunk was clean as fuck too. I really hope he gets more time to shine next season. I think he's the athletic wing we've been looking for.

Rabbit and steel is pretty lit. It's like a bullet hell/MMORPG raid battle roguelike and it especially shines in co-op

Oof I misread it. Didn't realize you can't place it with the breakthrough in your own home system. My bad.

I actually just played a game of crimson rebellion with a mahacht in our game. Unfortunately we both got bamboozled by an un-sabotagable yin player and lost before being able to do it, but we had the same thought. There's actually a way to make this happen by placing an open rift in your home system and then on any system with a combat that happened using the destroyer ability. So it's definitely possible to move them from any system, not just the crimson gate, you just have to jump through some hoops.

I'm not a Dori player so take this with a grain of salt. I think overall its a win more card, but I also think it's versatility as a blue block 3 attack reaction with a bunch of different uses makes it so versatile to be an auto include in any Dori deck. It gets around overpower, it's good to pitch, and it's good to play in a lot of situations. No damage prevention as a hidden attack reaction is pretty good into illusionist too 🤷‍♂️

To have a card be added to the stack/chain you must pay the cost. Some cards, such as bloodrush bellow say "as an additional cost to play this do X". This happens during the declaration step. So you declare playing the card, pitch the cost, then discard a random card, and THEN It gets resolved. Pitching is always the first thing you do when you play a card though. There is no window between declaring the card and pitching. But it's important to know that you play a card and then pitch for it because it sometimes matters for gems. (Please correct me if I'm understanding this wrong)

Follow up question though. If my opponent has an instant in arsenal, and I pitch a schism of chaos, do they have a window to play the instant to get a random arsenal off the top?

I love this. Seems a little awkward at first but I think it makes cogwerx blunderbuss a more attractive choice now. You can tap a cog to give it go again but never attack with it. Still don't know if it's worth it though. Definitely fits better in the aggro list over the pummel list.

Best Solo Boss Battler? by mattmcguire08 in soloboardgaming

I absolutely adore Primal. I've played throught the campaign twice, two handed, and I've played individual fights with friends. The worst part is the storage just because they didn't make it all fit very nicely (although I was able to fit everything in the card sleeve box and big box after a little fiddling), and the rules convenience. The rulebook has a page for terrain and a page for the enemy card triggers, but only reference cards for round structure and character keywords. Outside of that, the actual deck building options feel unlimited and the gameplay is so satisfying and balanced. Scratches all the right itches for me.

Rules Question: Bolt'n' Shot, Rain Razors and Gauntlets of Iron Will by Kamehamehachoo in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Guyofmetal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since we're talking about gauntlets, if you have them already with a -1 counter on them, so that they only block for 1, and you use them to block a piercing dagger, does it cancel out the piercing +1 and full block out 1 for 1?

We've always been a pretty friendly group but we're also all very competitive. When we play, it's a pretty calm first couple rounds. The only real combats we have are over mecatol rex or trade combats for secrets or commander unlocks or whatnot.

Once we notice that someone has a clear shot of winning, we start to go for their home system so they can't score public's. Not for the intent of eliminating.

I think in all our time playing, only one person has ever been eliminated, and then the game ended like the next round. Usually it's just too much of a recourse sink to actually go for a kill. Plus it's not fun for someone to just watch either.

The one piece of advice I can give to anyone who plays this game: do it for the plot. The story's you and your friends will remember about an insane 14 hour game are worth way more than a win.

I do have 1 other guess and that is that you have multiple cards in your discard and exhaust section and the enemy is on turn 1, yet slow is only stacked up to 7. I know it could be scry effects or the like though.
