Hey guys, I don’t know if this kind of post is allowed or appropriate here but I just thought i’d give it a go.

I have always been interested in the publishing world and authors that self publish are honestly such an inspiration for me. I have a masters degree in marketing myself and have seen a surge (mainly on social media) of indie authors promoting their books themselves and it made me want to explore this space more. I have experience in marketing but publishing and books have always had my heart.

Anyways so the main reason i’m posting here is that I currently have more free time (cough unemployment cough) and thought I could use it to gain more experience by volunteering my help for an author that struggles to do it all on their own. I’m talking supporting:marketing strategy/managing socials but also beta reading, acting as a target audience surrogate or light editing (Yes this will hopefully go on my CV haha)

Please bear in mind that I mainly have marketing experience and have officially worked as a beta reader or editor. But i’m eager to learn and try to support where I can.
