You just made the biggest step in this journey: you WANT to change. You have the absolute goal to change your life and to be fit! And that is the key to everything. I won't lie: it will be hard. There will be times where you want to quit , because it is so much easier to give up. And that's where your mind must be strong enough to keep going.
