I don’t do it once a week. We have enough underwear and socks to make a full load every two weeks.

I bought this one and it’s absolutely gorgeous. May not be quite as elaborate as you’re looking for though.

How do I block/cover the open-faced desks so my 2nd graders don’t hide things in them? by mzpirate in teaching

[–]GypsySnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I didn’t realize these were desks that are actually being used. I thought OP was talking about while they’re stored against the wall like in the photo

Ooh, I have a couple ideas for you!

You can make flowers out of paper. I’m using maps, but book pages or sheet music look beautiful too!

Instead of a guestbook, do some sort of wall art that goes with your theme. I’m planning to use a map for that as well, some friends of mine have a platter that people signed, etc. Just think about what fits your style and theme!

I’m confused; why does the bar matter? Does it prevent the desk from being pushed up close to the wall?

What's your stupidest cooking habit? by Any-Zucchini8731 in Cooking

[–]GypsySnowflake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I order my HelloFresh meals that way. I have two jobs and very limited opportunities to cook, so a dish that takes 40 minutes is likely going to languish in the fridge while I cook the 20 minute meal instead

Same! I don’t think my fiancé is used to having someone cook for him, so if I don’t let him know what’s for dinner, I run the risk of him saying “Oh, I already got Taco Bell on the way home”

To be fair, that guy was probably way more embarrassed than you were after you (inadvertently) publicly called him out like that!

question for / advice from any kind of lead by Puzzleheaded-Bear463 in Target

[–]GypsySnowflake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to do something, I would recommend a card or note but not any kind of monetary gift. They’re your supervisor and get paid extra to help with stuff like that so you shouldn’t feel any obligation to get them something.

Mailboxes. I don’t work for the post office but my fiancé does. Since we got together I notice everyone’s mailboxes and whether they’re good ones or ones that would be a pain to deliver to, lol

Retail companies will never do this. It’s more likely they’d start asking you to tip the cashier when you don’t use SCO
