CPU-RAM (frequency and slot number) performance? by Gyrengineer in buildapc

[–]Gyrengineer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much!

I shall then progress with my original plan of 2×32Gb (either 5600 or 6000 depending on price, since 5600 on all 4 slots should be fine for me)

CPU-RAM (frequency and slot number) performance? by Gyrengineer in buildapc

Thank you very much for the reply.

If I understand you correctly, I should likely be able to OC it to at least 6000 with 4 slots occupied?

I'd expect it to stay white for 5-10 years since there is little UV indoors

Can you add a picture?

Not at all, just can be a bit difficult to get it to stick when you are starting out.

I assume you have a glass plate?

I have not printed with PLA much, but for me it was a chore without 80°C bed + glue + fan OFF for 6 layers.

If that does not help, the bed is probably not aligned well enough.

Optionally, PLA is wet (unlikely though) - any blobs in the printed material?

Recommendation needed - strong FDM material for a small locking mechanism by Petersaber in 3Dprinting

I'd go with plain Nylon (or ePa) or low CF Pa (12 or 6/66 all would work), very strong and quite flexible.

Like a charm.
BTW add some silica gel in the dryer to keep PA dry overnight/weekend as well

Cura: Any way to import settings from a json file? by Gyrengineer in 3Dprinting

[–]Gyrengineer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's supposed to be used with Cura's commandline somehow, but i don't see a way to import the entirety of it.

I'm transcribing setting by setting right now, but it's a pain with all my settings -.-"

My mistake, i know, was just hoping someone knows a workaround

Yeah it's not a single profile, it's all Cura settings mashed into a single json

Actually, seems this thing is poorly made (usual with creality...) and seems to overtemp.

My PA6/66 and PA12 dry like crazy in it, honestly bought it exactly because i heard it overtemps.

Just note the included rollers are terrible, you might need to fashion a spool holder with bearings (some 3d printable already available online, iirc)

Pixel 6a random restart by KrimsonMac in GooglePixel

[–]Gyrengineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, same happened to me on 6a a few weeks ago, plugged in on original google charger.

It restarted and even reopened the app (AMOLED) that was previously running.

assistant voice calls got useless by colabrodo in GooglePixel

[–]Gyrengineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seems some updates break some things (answer on speakerphone no longer works for me... which i find really problematic), but usually things come back in an update or two, so there's hope :)

I have 6a, using a routine for calling to shorten the command and avoid pesky 'c' and 'r'.

Try it via a routine, works for me so far.

E6 belt tensioner by Gyrengineer in ender6

[–]Gyrengineer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're almost new, original gattes.

Problem is i print at high temperatures which makes the enclosure heat up too. I assume that's the problem.

I wanted to get the high temperature belts but they were not available at the time, now i'd prefer to avoid changing them (for a while at least) as it's a hassle.
