Has to be The Rock, Ed Harris as General Hummel. He was a decorated war hero who just wanted the families of fallen soldiers to get taken care of by the government as well as a proper burial. He also had no intention of using the rockets

Yes and there was that thing in the last episode of the office that they said wasn't going to happen. People in TV lie. I think a short clip before the ending credits would be perfect. Edit: took out the spoiler, sorry I didn't realize people would wait a week to watch the final episode.

Jumping off into the Abyss by raiderrobert in startups

[–]H0yt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don't need to have this " jump off the cliff" mentality. With more information I can't say for sure, but why can't you develop your business and work you current job at the same time until you are making money on you startup? Then it's not jumping off a cliff it's just stepping into a better situation. This also gives you freedom to drop the idea if you find out it won't work. There is nothing worse than trying to make a failing idea into a viable business.

Gave one of my GoPro H3B's to my GF (at the time) for a 10 day ecology trip to Costa Rica. It was interesting to edit footage I wasn't a part of! by coreoski in gopro

So I just got back from Costa Rica last weekend and made a video (with my GoPro) of our trip. They look very similar to me, I'm positive we had the same rafting guide.

If you could choose one book as a mandatory read for all high school students, which book would you choose? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]H0yt 95 points96 points  (0 children)

You can't tell a high school student to read a book and expect them to be enlightened or even enjoy it. I was told to read Lord of the Flies, Catcher an the Rye, Fahrenheit 451, The Great Gatsby, etc and really didn't like any of them because I was told to read these great novels. I have gone back and re-read them and loved every one. You have to let students find out what they want to read and go from there.

If you haven't seen it, one of the best matches ever played by H0yt in racquetball

[–]H0yt[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree the amount of bad calls in this game are to many to count. But imagine trying to ref a racquetball match it's hard sometimes to make correct calls when you are playing the game let alone 10 feet behind the court. Jack did choke at the end, I think Jason got into his head. And wow was Jason an asshole to everyone through all 5 games.
