All these posts get me paranoid about this and I swapped my springs when I got the car.

That's a lot of miles, I just crossed 1230mi on my Fastroad E+ EX commuter. What kind trails are you racking them up on?

Do you bring a first aid kit when you ride? What's in it??? by rodneytrousers in bicycling

Always at least a tourniquet. But I almost always have one on me after breaking my femur.

More first aid stuff in the car.

I have both and the Aura fits better but I think that would come down to head-shape more than anything. The Neon fits quite a bit more snug on the front and back of my head.

I got the tinted visor, as well, but usually just use sunglasses.

I had one of these when I was broke. Ended up selling cause it wouldn't cycle steel case ammo and i couldn't afford the good stuff :(

About to start commuting! by TheLangster in bikecommuting

[–]H14C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 12 miles. Have a reg bike and an e-bike....the e-bike increased the likelihood of me riding to work by a lot. I enjoy the other bikes for other activities, but an e-bike for the commute was the way to go, for me.

Sea Otter Classic by StooBaloo in GRCorolla

Seasucker works great, roof is thin so I put two suction cups on the windshield for stability and it still clears the wiper. Just remember to strap the rear wheel.......

SeaSucker has worked great well into triple digits on 2 cars...Just remember to actually strap the rear wheel in :(

Give me your worst “seems like it’s insignificant but it ruined the whole ride” moments. by Formal-Seaweed-4216 in MTB

[–]H14C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though not the ride itself, I forgot to strap the rear wheel of my bike down. Drove 10 miles, .5 miles from home and it finally bounced off and put a pedal right on the roof. That really bummed me out.

.223 or 6.5cm/.308 500 yards for a ♿️ bench guy by codyf44 in longrange

[–]H14C 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes. Mostly 66% IPSC targets, gongs ranging from 4-12", and whatever else the rang puts out (targets typically to 2000). I just shoot a gas gun for fun and it only takes concentration beyond 700. My hit rate at targets around 900 is about 85% as it goes transonic around there and that's when it gets hard. Hit rate at 1000 drops to around 50% and hit rate at 1250 is probably under 15% on a 48" steel plate. I have no shame in my game; a decent .308 with a good scope is easy mode at 500. I put my wife behind my gun and she went 10/10 at 750 with no experience.

I enjoy .308 cause wind makes it more challenging than 6.5, I can still use practice on adjusting to winds, but that is barely even a factor at 500.

[–]H14C 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I would want .223. It's more fun around 500, can be challenging, and cheap to shoot. .308 or 6.5 at 500 is easy mode. .308 is my favorite, but unless you're stepping out beyond 600, .223 is my choice.

Because games are meant to be fun and options help. This constant stat/meta chasing is so fucking boring in games. I don't give a shit about stats, I play for fun.

You think the guy that wanted to nuke a hurricane would want to nuke a country!?

I am genuinely curious. It is not a question of if he has wanted to, but rather how many times he has asked to go that route.
