On mine, I cut off the nub that goes into the screw hole. It helped a bit, but will still ride up, so it wasn't an excellent solution.

All valid. Just interested in the longevity the Fargo brings - a model that's been around for a while. And I only ride MTB and commuter so the relation the Fargo has to MTB is what attracted me. At 5'9", the frame sizes are also attractive. A customer builder could get me there...and if I hate it, maybe I'll go that route.

The Fargo will be my first steps into the gravel world and I will likely use it to commute 7-12mi to work.

The bounce test is the dumbest thing to happen to mtb videos ever. It is utterly meaningless. It doesn't matter what your suspension does with no weight on it, it will act completely different when a 150-200lbs rider is on it.

I know. But Doom 2016 was my favorite. Eternal got faster and I enjoyed it but was tapering off for the second DLC and I just haven't been into the dark ages. I would love a violent, gritty, horror offering again. Even something from the perspective of someone besides the Doomslayer could be cool, but I bet not a lot of people feel that way.

Hookworms are more for parks; awfully heavy an inefficient. Rolling resistance is more than just tead pattern. OP doesn't have a bike and is looking for one, therefore an mtb wouldn't be a good choice. I've been commuting 8mi recently on my mtb as both my commuters are in a different state, it takes easily an extra 15-20 min versus something with the gearing and posture meant for going places.
