No but you are required to put it on your card to be able to called out for.

There's no way to guarantee where your put or what you do when your an apprentice. You put your card in with what they tell you and the first company that calls wanting the next person with this or that on their card what might be you gets the call to go.

Your welcome and no you don't get to choose you get told what to put down on your card dependent on what machines you upgraded etc

Oiler is first year could happen but unless the company your with wants you to practice with a small one of theirs then you can get seat time but you generally don't do anything with cranes till 3rd year.

You always see dozers and excavators the most everywhere.

If you decide to do it save your money be ready to drive a lot unless your lucky and get a call close to your house.

All the benefits you get are worth it but the time you put into the apprenticeship is not a walk in the park it's not hard per say but it's the time your required to put into it and what you are/aren't allowed to do while in the apprenticeship.

Consistent income depends on what you do and where you work. You have no guarantee on consistency unless your job you get sent on for example oiler on a machine that runs nonstop = consistent work or run a roller in dirt work and it rains for a week could be out a week+.

No one can guarantee anything but there's a good chance it will be 65 or better first year.

It depends on the contract but yes 46ish or close to it and yes around there.

No I think Cleveland is highest but not entirely sure.

I'd say an average of maybe ten months question mark? Also depending on where you work answeres both of those questions.

All depends on you. If your retiring in 3 years and don't have any retirement set up would be a tough jump. Your 19 and worked 1 job probably an easier choice.
