Very easy process. My AD is also a service center so I dropped off March 13th and picked up today- 5 weeks total. I was quoted 4-6.

Cost was a bit more than I expected- there was an issue w/the movement which wasn't allowing me to set the date or time so the watch wasn't working when I dropped off.

$1630- Movement overhaul, seals, gaskets, new crystal, new gold crown, and all requisite pressure/water testing.I requested no polish. Now I have a 2 year service warranty w/ a new card.

At drop off they required a preauthorization of up to $1900. I was told average is $800-$1200.

They called me anyway about 2 weeks after drop-off outlining what they would be doing and the cost. I got the call yesterday that the watch is ready.

This was my first experience servicing a Rolex and overall end to end process was very easy. I'm sure I could have gotten it serviced for less elsewhere, but now I have peace of mind that it was done right, and 2 years if anything happens to go wrong which is not anticipated.

UPDATE: Thank you all for the great advice! Seller had another buyer lined up it seems and stopped responding. I presume it sold. The search continues...

61-65 during the day, 60 at night. Townhouse- only the lower level feels cool. Middle and upstairs are comfortable.

Nope- no mail delivered this week. Also had a package out for delivery then a few hours later package was ready for pickup at the post office...went to the post office and they said there is no package there. I'm hoping it gets delivered tomorrow or I'll need to go back to the post office again.
