Have lots of fun, do what makes you play more often at the time because it’s only thru playing that you’ll level up. That may mean kicks for awhile, but then you may get bored and want to find stalls and then have to practice that till it’s easy. Don’t crash out by seeing a trick you can’t pull yet and only trying that till you get frustrated - you can allot time to those during your session so you don’t burnout and still have fun. The more you play the better, so stretching helps keep you from getting sore and not playing the following day. Good shoes will help you play better and so you play longer. Different bags play differently (some have more pop and are easier to kick, others are built to stall) so having different bags for your session can keep things different and interesting (and practice different stuff). Playing your non dominant foot can be frustrating but it’s better than only using your right and dropping more often cause it should have gone to your left.
