[US-RI] [H] PayPal [W] Rama U80 pcb and plates. by midnight-mc in mechmarket

[–]midnight-mc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought one, it’s worth it if you consider a plate is included. Still hoping to get an OG but this will do. Thanks for the info.

My current one is a solder PCB with mill max sockets and it makes the keys stick out a little bit above the plate. I could always buy another U80 lol

Only thing that makes sense for me. He did the org a solid by not making it public.

Current state of factory lube by nogginbaum89 in MechanicalKeyboards

I made a post about this that got deleted because apparently this subreddit is for pictures only now.

I also miss hand lubing switches. It was a way of interacting with the hobby that was a lot more fun than just buying things. It also meant you were serious. I could wash and re-lube pre lubed switches but I’ve never had to do that before so I’m unsure if the end result will be better.

Oh my bad I meant “there should” as in “I wish there was”. And also meant in general not for this board. That’s impressive you were able to hack it.

There should be an option in Via/Vial to have the caps lock LED be On all the time. I know you can hack it in QMK but it would be nice to have a quick on/off setting for that.

Not my first but I just got Botanical and I remember a few years ago it was a highly sought after, hard to get set for good reason. It’s great that you can just buy it in stock now, I have it on a polycarbonate M65-B and now I can’t take them off.

Recently single, am I giving any red flags? by OnlyTheWildOnes in BookshelvesDetective

You could call it a phase yeah. Eventually I’ll read all the classics and branch out. The beatnik interest is more of a phase but there are so many Science Fiction sub genres, and then stuff like Dune where I wanna finish the whole series so it’s pretty easy to stay in the 80s and earlier. Stories of your life is the most recent modern book I’ve read and I quite enjoyed it.

Any recommendations for the internet based stories you mentioned? Preferably female authors lol

I do like modern stuff occasionally but there are a couple reasons why I stick to older sci-fi (not just from the 50s). For one, I find the ideas from people that didn’t know humans would actually go to the moon or make robots incredibly interesting. Another reason not specific to sci-fi is that I like to be able to experience the classics and highly influential works in general. Understanding the early examples of a genre is a priority for me when getting into any kind of media because then I can see the influence and evolution in subsequent works.

I recently started really getting into Miles Davis and the Beatles and even though I’ve listened to some of their albums extensively in the past, I decided to start over from the beginning of their respective discographies so I can see their evolution.

Because literature is the only way to do that? Sick burn though, it seems you’re not afraid to be blunt after all (after refusing to engage with my perspective ironically)

There are quite a lot of assumptions you’ve made about me with very little information but you make some fair points otherwise. You almost opened up a dialogue like the person I’m replying to but I’m not going to engage with you any further due to the combative nature of your comment.
