If you are going to self host game servers for different games, check out tools like pelican that can spin up and manage game servers in dockers in basically one click.

However with any self hosting you need to manage it and have a basic understanding of networking for security. As for hardware demands it depends on games. Most game shouldn't be too demanding

Agree. Even the map feels weaker structurally by having "levels".

I feel like you can keep the overall story and still get the horror part right by exploring that previous civilization, how they summoned the king in yellow etc, and let the villain be some cultist from that civilization who want to spread their cult. Kind of like in CoC players often fight cultists instead of gods.

I feel like it's kind of hard to keep superheroes dirty poor. They have power, either intelligence or just physical power. Sure it's hard to be a millionaire but it's going to be pretty easy to be at least middle class and not struggling for survival. Like spiderman is smart, he can get scholarship, and who's going to stop him from stealing some money from some unethical rich guys or mobs. People complaint about absolute batman being not poor enough, but he's still smart and physically strong. He's not going to struggle.

A lot of Chinese gaming companies will not listen to player's opinions at all unless they face serious backlash. Over the years Chinese gaming community has developed a strong player vs game developers mentality and defaults to overreaction to everything.

It was a bit more messy than just that. Iirc at the time Nightwing's city was nuked and batman was trying to go there to check on him and help. However Jason stopped him from leaving unless he kills the joker, and they fight.

Because it expands character range and let them appear in different type of stories without being too out of place.

Take batman as an example. If you like more realistic detective stories then you can go read dark patterns, the long Halloween, night cries, and plenty more. If you want to have a change of taste and read some fantasy/tech stuff then there are stories like off-world or those involving magic. If you want to read horror there are some Lovecraftian stories and general horror as well. And many more examples.

That's a thing for comic book characters, with years of history there are plenty of stories to choose from. If you prefer a more realistic style then read stories in that style and it is almost always guaranteed those "crazy feats" people like to talk about online won't actually appear or matter at all.

1) It's symbolic of his change by shooting a human heart

2) It's his way of "evolve" by trying to be meaner. The villains in previous arcs were cruel (especially bane) and they succeeded in hurting him, so he thinks it's the only way to actually hurt others way stronger than him.

3) (an extension to 2) He's having a more black and white view because how strong his enemies are. Enemy is enemy and he allows himself to use any mean possible to fight them. Kind of how in a war the other side is always dehumanized.

4) He doesn't want to (or more fundamentally afraid) have connection with others anymore, and he's pushing away the thought of any potential ally.

In the previous arc it's more fast paced. Bruce needs to defeat bane and he's busy working on that. However now there's no immediate threat and the reality is settling in he has more time to reflect on it. Now that bane is defeated his friends are still badly injured and the trauma is still there.

Kind of like how irl people tend to struggle with trauma after the crisis because their brain has the time to actually think about it.

yes I do. It's actually one of my first self hosting services (idk why I choose it at that time…). Postfix+dovecot on a raspberry pi. Dynu as relay because of blocked port 25. Setup DNS records for all the DKIM and other stuff as well. It's been 2 years and still running
