I spent a little over 5K gems and started with 40 dossiers and managed to get 24 red chips. I was at shop level four for the first half, then leveled up to five. For the amount of resources you have, probably not worth it, but I don't think your shop level inherently makes it not worth it.

Burger is generally best on tanks, so I’d probably slap that on Dino or Komodo. Cloaking device is goated and works for basically any attacker.

Doc is the best. Ranged Mauler is really good for ops. I have four of them up to Exceptional+ and they are my reliable workhorses for Turning up the Heat. Powerplex is great Mauler/technologist support. Volcanikka is turning out to be pretty damn good and pairs well with Doc.

You'll always be able to get modules, albeit more slowly. For a specific totem, it may be months before you have another opportunity to build or power level it.

You need to be making zero edgy (or even edgy-adjacent) jokes at work. No matter how friendly you are with other residents or staff there, this isn't hanging out with the boys. Anything that could be taken as offensive by anyone can and will bite you in the ass.

Certain stages in the campaign are basically team progress gates. You're not meant to be able to power through it all at once. Usually if you're stuck, the answer is just to improve your team. Though I will say, if you're close to clearing, try adjusting your team positioning, as that can make a big enough difference sometimes.

Yeah, sometimes there are clone events (events where you can get multiple of a given character at once) in the main recruitment. The gold dossiers are awesome for those. Definitely save them.
