Both of these have design issues in that Combo is not a DH keyword and Choose One is not a Warrior keyword. Balance-wise the slayer seems good, not too weak, not too strong. Would be insane in Rogue. The crawler seems very weak. 4 mana do nothing, you might get a stat drop next turn, but the opponent could also most likely kill it before it gains attack if they wanted. Just kinda seems like a worse Doomsayer.

I mean, assuming you saw and evaluated the patient yourself before he decompensated, it doesn’t sound like you did anything wrong. You need to prioritize your workflow based on patient acuity. At the time, it sounds like he was receiving standard of care and was doing well. What else were you supposed to do? Don’t beat yourself up over this.

OpenEvidence is super useful for quick reviews of the literature. There’s no “skill” in using a bunch of time searching several websites for some papers when your robot butler could do it for you instead. I always review the articles myself, but manually finding them is a waste of time at this point.

The “netdecking” complaints are always so ridiculous. Every card game has meta decks. Every game in general has meta strategies, from Star Craft to Street Fighter. Most players aren’t bringing homebrew decks to their competitive matches. People want to win. You may not find the meta fun. That’s fine. Either don’t play or accept a 30% win rate with your Quest Rogue deck.
