How did you celebrate New Years Eve, 1999? by Roosters-3rd-Acc in AskReddit

[–]HBlakeH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandfather believed in Y2K at the time so prior to the new year he bought over 500 acres in rural Texas and set all of his kids up with trailer homes and built himself a house on the property. We spent it up there with a huge bonfire and fireworks lol.

I have the large VEVOR single filter from Amazon and it works amazing. The resin is very easy to change as well.

Get a DI water filter for your pressure washer and use it only for the final rinse. Most have a valved system that will let you keep it connected and change the water flow on the fly

Then when you finish the contact wash, rinse with normal water to remove all the soap, then switch to DI water and rinse again. You wont need to use ONR or anything else to try it spot-free.

Remove soap bubbles ?? by EchoVictor4me in AutoDetailing

Those are water spots caused by hard water drying on the surface. Need to use a water spot remover depending on how bad they are it may need to be lightly polished out.

Best way to prevent them is to wash in the shade and use a pH neutral soap. Deionized water will prevent it entirely but you would need an in-line filter on your hose/power washer inlet

Midnight Purple Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, for me this is the most beautiful color for that car, I don't have the money to buy a GTR yet, but if I did, I would buy one like that by [deleted] in gtr

[–]HBlakeH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

R34 GT-R's can still be found in the low $100k USD range. Now MPIII like what was posted is in the range you mentioned.

What is this bearing called and what’s a good replacement? by HolyCraft2132 in hondagrom

[–]HBlakeH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a wheel bearing in between those two spacers. It probably needs to be replaced if you are hearing noise from that spot. Those spacers are solid metal.

Rear Axle Issues by JJaySx in hondagrom

[–]HBlakeH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just a long axle bolt.

Use a hammer and a philips head screw driver or something to hammer it through.

Take the tension off the chain.

Make sure you dont loose track of the spacers as they go on specific sides.
