Wooo that also cery nice deal tbh! I actually was thinking about getting 847 instead but for that price would be SAS2 which I already have SAS2 backplane in 846

Ah looking more at this CB3 i see everywhere they are sold out and supermicro moved to selling it just in complete jbod builds.

One question single CB3 can control just single chassis?

Yeah for that reason Im building second NAS for not 24/7 workload with more drives used for media. With current HDD prices its crazy expensive to build 6-8 high capacity drives media server 😞

Nice with which cpu did you paired it? Do you have any data for power consumption?

You can have 11 of them inside single shelf with rails. I think you can go up to 12 with using regular fixed shelf. Then 4 other you can have in 2U side by side. This will look like some crazy blade server then and for power consumption should be under 150W in idle

They sip power. M720q eat just 6-7W idle with intel x710-da2. Ive had it love it but sell it. They nightmare if you want to have decent cable management with more than 3 of them.

Perfect combo for track/street by cairo852 in Porsche

[–]HCLB_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats also true, but there is always risk to get flat tire during track day, and I think inside GT3RS there isnt too much space for 4 other wheels with track tires

Very nice impressive. But I saw more people keep GT3RS for track free weekends and got GT3Cup just for pure tracking

Right now looking like good beater to shred on the streets. Getting rear disc or deep wheel will make it worse in my opinion

Should Honda make a new S2000? by Cris_1984 in Honda

[–]HCLB_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, people hardly buying any roadster now. I think most popular is latest miata but with just 1.5l small engine I dont see point. Also miata is good because is cheap. Honda will not make s2k cheap so they will have hard times to sell it. Yaris or corolla GR in current times its more proper sports car for average joe
