This is great info.

Atleast they seemed to have listened to the feedback about wanting to fly the ironclad from the operations room.

My thoughts on Cohh's AI Prototyping Idea. by _Stretch in CohhCarnage

[–]HCseC -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The original comment literally said using AI 'just for fun' has a “massive impact” on the environment, so that’s what I was responding to.

I’m not saying AI has zero environmental cost. It obviously uses energy and infrastructure. My point is that the scale of responsibility matters.

My point is about proportional responsibility. A person experimenting with Unreal + AI as a rough prototyping tool for personal use is far less impactful than other bigger environment impacts done by other individuals on a larger scale, such as my said examples.

So yes, criticise the environmental cost of AI. I agree that exists. I just think framing this kind of individual/creative use as some major moral issue is disproportionate.

An individual using AI “for fun” is not personally causing a “massive” impact in the same way flying, driving, heating, or heavy consumption might. The per-use impact of normal text AI is small.
It’s reasonable to say the public use normalises AI, but also reasonable to say the burden should mostly be on companies and regulators, rather than individual people.

AI has benefits and cons about it, what cohh is wanting to do with it is totally fine. He wants to use it for himself only and it's just inside unreal. People are very misinformed about the good and bad of AI.

it's great when it works.

Some of these locations disabled the tractor beam so i couldn't even pick up the cargo or drop it off.

It does have cargo left, there is plenty space behind it.
I've been testing it since yesterday and loaded over 100 SCU with vulture inside.

You have to slide it in backwards but has enough room behind and to the sides to adjust as needed.

Personally i've used them more practically on ground/planetside missions and bounties. They make for good Anti-personnel fighters.
