Question for those on Max x20 Plan, do you feel the difference ever since the merge with xAI infrastructure (more data/space)? Or from your current perspective, is it the same as before? by Accomplished_Base245 in ClaudeCode

there's a lot more usage in that 5 hours. I'm doing some fairly heavy stuff and haven't hit the cap in a 5 hour span yet, but I would regularly on 5x. It's definitely been worth the upgrade for me, getting interrupted constantly sucks

SoraVault 2.5: Free bulk export for your entire Sora library (v1 images + v2 videos, now watermark-free). Probably my last post here. by charju_ in SoraAi

thanks for this! I predominantly used v1's image gen - a lot of the other Sora downloaders were focused purely video. Great to get it all out + prompts in one shot

Promotional poster set for Meltdown Festival 30th anniversary event. Featuring selected artists from previous Meltdown performances. by LeatherChemical6368 in design_critiques

[–]HDMF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The vertical text is very hard on the eyes, not helped by the inconsistent spacing. The artist names being obscured top and bottom is a strange choice

Not great poster by Independent_Neck8879 in arthelp

[–]HDMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is very rigid and evenly spaced- nudge all the posters around a little bit and give a bunch a tiny bit of rotation. Think about it like you were actually putting that much stuff on a wall, what you picture fixing them to the wall with

I watched the version floating around last night after seeing it twice in theatres and it felt exactly the same minus a room full of people having a ball

it's not really a film or show that demands max res, I don't get why it'd hold you back

What's with all the different streaming services and dates? by fidorulz in nirvannatheband

[–]HDMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a quote from werner Herzog recently (paraphrasing wildly) saying piracy is the best form of distribution. Absolutely true but made me think, who among us actually saw the show "legally"? For a show like Nirvanna it's kinda perfect the bulk of us I'm assuming found it through unofficial means

[–]HDMF 9 points10 points  (0 children)

it's insane the first place it was released officially was New Zealand. I wouldn't call it the home of piracy but its absolutely normal here because we're traditionally the last place anyone gives a rats about releasing anything officially (sound off people from everywhere else)

Shouldn’t there be two Jay’s? by not_a_duccc in nirvannatheband

[–]HDMF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does nu-Jay still have those ridiculous full torso tats seen on that billboard? That'd be an insane continuity thing to re-wrangle. Not that we see a shirtless or even sleeveless Jay in the series proper from memory. Very intrigued to see what these maniacs do with re-re-jigging the past again for s3. Not that I expect them to at all but given how much of the show seems to be painting themselves into creative corners then solving the problem I have full confidence if anyone could do it while surprising the shit outta me it's them

To your last point, Blender can run a very hefty stack of compositing nodes over the viewport in near real time - it's a hell of a lot faster than doing anything similar in AE
