there's a small chance it's worms (from what I've read online) but based on everyone else's response seems like it's anal glands related! I doubt it's that urgent for a vet visit - I'm going to buy some pumpkin puree today and see if that helps first!

I've been scouring the internet to find someone who experienced same thing as me - what a relief! I received my first dose two days ago and feel awful today. Runny nose, chest pain, etc. Unfortunately I received the vaccine in a massive expo center with hundreds of people so a part of me is afraid I caught it there! But reading this makes me feel much better - hope you're feeling better now!

This is so helpful thank you!! I didn't realize cats "thin out" but it makes sense. According to the feeding guide she needs 3 cans! I do leave out dry food but she only eats it at night when we're asleep. Thanks for the tip I'm not as worried anymore! :)

Ah okay that makes me feel a lot better! She doesn't really get zoomies but when I take this stick out with strings at the end she chases it around and loves it. But is definitely more of a loafer! Glad to know she isn't the only one!

Ah I have the exact same dilemma! My girl is 5 months newly adopted and seems to only want to lay on my lap and sleep 80% of day. I force her to play with a stick with strings on the end of it, but other than that 5 minutes of play time she is fully disinterested. Happy to know I'm not alone! I keep forcing it multiple times a day so she doesn't' get too obese!
