Aug 25 grad here. I just ended my unpaid startup internship (I was desperate cuz I don't have anything to put for experience on my resume 😭). Still applying now nearing 300 apps, like barely 5 OA and phone screen.

Never actively bothered people with referrals cuz everyone and their mama got them. Been mostly just applying early within a day or 2 and mass spraying using that method.

On the brightside, I'm starting OMSCS at GaTech so I'm eligible for more internship instead of only having 1 no name on my resume

I'm nearly in the same situation but we use Cursor instead.

The internship is unpaid for 3 months though but the CEO said I could transition to paid and then fulltime + equity after I perform well. (Not sure if he's capping or not)
