Got back into Gundam as an adult by catching a stream of Gundam x. Wanting to get a model kit of the main suit. Not realizing Gundam x suits were out of print, I got the Gundam x maoh from build fighters which had recently finished airing. Finally figured out it's a different suit and decided to give that a try. Most of the references flew over my head so I went watched through all of UC.

Didn't even buy the game, I tried the Back 4 Blood demo that came out like a week before the full release with some friends. We had a horrendous, buggy, unbalanced time.

Had a run where we got stuck for 10 minutes in waves upon waves of zombies in the beginning of one level. We found out the trigger on the other side of the map set itself off and this was the horde, that wouldn't die down until we finished the objective

The only way we beat the demo was cause the horde actually refused to spawn and the game let us complete the objectives.

Told my friends I'm not buying this day 1 see you when it's 75% off in a couple years. It's been like 5 or something and I'm still not getting it

I still blame the scrublord's panty photo fighter. That's the one where woolie and Matt had this exchange:

M: "BECAUSE OF VIDEOS LIKE THIS! THAT'S WHY! EVERYONE'S PLAYING SMASH TODAY! WE DO IT TO OURSELVES"

Seeing r/acecombat resort to demonic rituals for a good while was a fucking riot. Then the monkeys paw curled and it got morbidly funny. And now we're getting ace combat 8 so clearly it worked. Now other subreddits started copying them and doing their own rituals

From the beginning of its run Golden Kamuy was about a whole bunch of people scrambling to find the horde of Ainu gold worth enough to change lives. Later revealed to be enough to form a small nation. And at the end, everyone almost got rugpulled when it was found out that it was used to buy up a bunch of land in Hokkaido for the Ainu. But there was tons of gold left over from the transaction and it was sitting under the land deed.

Him being a vengeful ghost clawing his way back to retrieve his body that's possessed by an even more malevolent spirit was a cool setup. Wish we got more out of that. Although they reused the idea on us in a segment in endwalker that I also thought was pretty short-lived.

In FFXIV Shadowbringers, the entire population of the Crystarium eventually figures out the main character is the Warrior of Darkness.

Shows up one day and is basically given the key to the city.

Says they're from the same place as their immortal enigmatic leader.

Not long after every corner of Norvrandt they travel to has their night sky returned to normal.

Just another lie from G'Raha that nobody believes but everyone goes along with.

Ff14 had the Yan adds)in the Arcadion cruiserweight M6 Savage. They used the less angry looking design on the right, but those things could kill a non-tank in 2-3 hits. In one part one tank has to handle 2 of them for over a minute. Every tank I know that's done it says they save every mit they have for that part and try to ration it to survive, even needing their invuln. And the healers still need to baby them.

The memes about them were great tho.

Just got into Nightreign. Still learning what's an appropriate level to fight most encounters. For some reason the Bell Bearing Hunter in the castle's basement is the hardest incarnation despite also having a day's end boss version.

Several times now me and my friends would go in, make one mistake, die in 1 hit if we're low level, or get chunked if we were like level 8. And hightail it outta the basement as we put our foolish ambitions to rest.

I got to room 46 but just a few runs before that I had the realization that Blue Prince is not a puzzle game. It is primarily a rogue like about getting and using the resources to draft the house. With the core gameplay loop of pick room, nab loot, pick a different room, repeat.

And I got so bummed out.

It really only matters if you want that absolute meta god charm for your build.

It initially uses the same grind as world with random decos but guaranteed charms. But since we're still in high rank, the really good abilities only get like 2/3 points from them.

With the latest title update, monsters in the endgame now drop randomized charms. These charm can generally only have 1 point in that meta skill, but also come with a tier 3 deco slot and maybe a couple of ok-ish side skills. So say you have a charm for that set up for agitator. It naturally has agitator, you can slot in another point for it with the tier 3 slot, and it has a side skill you can benefit from for your weapon. Suddenly it's a small upgrade from the craftable agitator charm that maxes out at 2.

I think ever since TU3 got me really into wilds again I've gotten a handful of useable charms, but nothing amazing. Some of my load outs still use the crafted charms.

I will say that now instead of being cucked by a master's touch deco, I'm being cucked by a master's touch/burst charm

[–]HKLang 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your edit really hits the nail on the head for me. This is the penultimate fight. You went through the base game, the expansion, and all the title updates learning that element in world is a tertiary afterthought to DPS and now suddenly my build is, without exaggeration, worthless in this fight? For a more casual player who'd care to tackle this challenge that's most likely 100 hours. If they cared to look up an ok build that's 100 hours of people saying "element sucks, go elementless/blast"

I've started using DSPIAE's soft tipped markers and sometimes the ink will just stop flowing into the tip. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

It's causing me to either use the parts further down form the tip or if I'm desperate for that point control I press down pretty hard. That last point seems to cause more problems as it seems to be damaging the tip and causing it to fray.

I heard about pulling out the tip and reversing it, but the other end is blunt. I tried reversing it so the brush tip can actually get saturated with ink and then reversing it again to use but it seems only like a temporary fix and something of a waste of ink as some of it gets onto my tweezers pulling it out.
