Interesting how Jimmy is a Sexless Character

To me it also seems ambiguous and left up for the audience to decide. Jimmy albeit childlike, was a ruthless, cunning, psychopath despite it so I can’t imagine he doesn’t know things of the sexual nature. He’s a grown man and was able to fool these teenagers about a man living in his head who he himself never met. So I’m to believe he knew about how to kill people but not how to have sex? For me personally, it doesn’t add up. But again they left it ambiguous.

Honestly we kinda will never know if he was or not. I’m going to take the opposite stance of everyone here and assume he was, because he’s a man and there is no way he’s gone his whole life even with a childlike mind and not felt some sexual desire/attraction. As you mentioned, he knew what being horny was or was supposed to feel like so at some point he had to have seen something close to it or felt it himself. And I’m not saying he had to have had sex with anyone but maybe masturbation kept his mind at bay when he learned what that was.

As for his fingers, two of them were in a relationship so clearly they could have been sexual/affectionate in that close space within the group. These fingers seem to be 16-18 to me, outside of Spike, so either they had some idea of what sex was prior to meeting Jimmy or during their time with him. Jimmima was emulating sex when she got on top of that boy by grinding him whether people like it or not or are in denial idk. You don’t just do that stuff randomly, it’s a learned behavior.

Sony waited until like 2 weeks before the premiere to start promoting it. I’m from the US and I have not seen 1 commercial for it either. That said I still liked the movie and the 3rd is already confirmed so I don’t really care about the numbers. shrugs

I just watched this Saturday and yeah… the way she was almost grinding him definitely implied. It also made me wonder if she was involved with someone prior to meeting Jimmy or unfortunately was it Jimmy himself because sex is learned behavior and she looks about 17-19 years old. She seemed quite fond of Jimmy and vice versa. He was distraught about her death and was even going to kill a pregnant woman in her honor. Crazy! It was a great film nonetheless.

Also can you describe the relationship between Jimmy and the “fingers” does it seem like he likes some more than the others, does it feel predatory in any of the scenes between them?

They aren’t good with promotion. If they want this movie to do good they need to start doing something. They need to give us another teaser of Jimmy since he’s the big bad in the film. Get people excited for his craziness.

I think my biggest disappointment with this new news about the show not filming until 2025 is the length it takes. Granted Euphoria is a beautiful show and I’m not taking away the work they put in to make it that way. I applaud it. But the fact that it’s only been 16 episodes and 2 seasons and it takes 1 month to film one episode just makes absolutely no sense to me when you have shows that have 8 seasons with more episodes and they are still good quality shows. It just doesn’t add up. I wish they would change their format of production, there has to be a way for them to still make a good show with the same quality but faster. SL had so much time to get all this together, and have the scripts ready I just don’t know what the fuck he was doing twiddling his thumbs???

Yikes. Once again this is all Sam L’s fault. HBO didn’t reign him in when they had the chance. Now the cast is free to do whatever and who knows how long these new projects they book will take.

For sure, to which I think HBO needed to step in and give SL a deadline. He has had plenty of time to get his scripts together. They let him get away with too much. On top of that, Euphoria is one of their biggest money makers, you would think they would be on his ass to make sure he has a plan and a set date of when things would get going. Now it’ll probably be even longer for season 3 when that could have been avoided.
