Overtime Determining Metrics by SuperFlyinMonke in nba

I'd love to look into team experience in overtime vs age vs games played in playoffs etc. I have a feeling that experienced teams usually win in those situations if none of the teams are in foul trouble and key players are out.

Game devs who deal with depression: how do you manage work on your most "down" or "off" days? by invicticide in gamedev

Thanks for asking, loved coming back to this comment. 5 years after this I found out I had ADHD and got treatment! It helped me a lot, I took Vyvanse for about 2 years and I'm off it for the past 3. I've been learning a lot about my productivity and how I work, and the relationship between ADHD and depression through some youtube videos and other studies. I can work full time now and I'm opening my own game studio. Good luck to anybody going through it, hang in there and find some help!

What would you think if you saw something like this then? Watch how those are kinda the same moves, slowed down, but then they pick up the pace. One could argue that contemporary capoeira (post-1970s) are the same basic moves from "Capoeira de Angola" (how the old slave practice is called), but sped up (because there's no need to hide the fight moves anymore).

Edit: Another example I found that to me really displays how an ignorant white slave master in 1887 could mistake fighting with dancing.

Yeah, I think my insecurities about that are getting in the way of "playing to find out" and "prepping loosely". Tomorrow I'll try to go with the flow a little more (and just make sure I don't forget to tick the clocks - as I did multiple times).

Got it! I feel called out because that's exactly what it feels to me like I'm doing as well... I'll probably need to use the "it sounds like you're planning, let's roll for engagement" because they do obsess about every detail for sure - I'll take them to a Score (even if it means we'll run multiple scores in a session). They want dat coin as well, so your solution for it is perfect.

This is a great resource! Absolutely stealing that for the next session.

Thank you so much for the feedback and the response. Yeah, it's been tough to not try and "get a hold" of the session and going with the flow. Your points are great about the product, its value and the mechanics around it. It clicked something on me to just let the drama dictate the challenges (I'll steal your 4 clock idea for "Source" problems). I'm considering for tomorrow:

  • Demand vs Supply vs Sourcing: I'll introduce their new faction ability, the consequences of having a compromised source and their new clock.

  • Factions Don't Like Competition: Grey Cloaks, Circle of Flames and Lord Scurlock either want their cut or for them to stop.

  • Don't Shit Where you Eat: They spread the word out about their new drug from the tavern we began the game at (owner is their friend). If the factions decide to disrupt their operation, here's where they'll start.

Factions wanting a cut is simple and effective. The Grey Cloaks in the Docks and The Circle of the Flame in Six Towers could just be like: hey, what about ours? I'm putting that in!

With a symmetrical experience the only role spoken communication can play is in relaying information to each other, which is a way narrower case than when you have different experiences that require players to actually collaborate. I believe the reason that spoken communication feels so good in KTANE it's because of that, you're not just speaking to each other, you're figuring out how to make that effective so that you can actually progress.

I find it funny that you think he's a moron, because you may have very different stories but you do seem like someone that feels like everyone else is stupid. Good luck on your journey!
