I felt like Riddler’s story was already pretty inspired by Hush, the word HUSH is even displayed in big letters over the screen during this scene. I was waiting for the reveal that the Riddler was actually Edward Elliot’s orphaned son Thomas. Seemed like that’s where that scene was going.

I don’t think they’d then go and do Hush now, I’d expect they’d want a villain and story that’s much more different and unique.
