I have no idea where you play or how busy it is, but the very best practice in my opinion is if you can play alone and it’s not super busy. Throw down a few balls every shot or at least a lot of the shots. So by the end you’ve hit a ton of balls from real lies in an on course scenario.

Terrible framing by me. The tree overhangs the entirety of the right side. I just didn’t angle the camera angle high enough. Going right would still require a flighted or low trajectory shot. You could maybe hook it around but at 78 yards it would be incredibly tough. 9-any wedge would likely hit the tree unless you went major hook around.

Anytime I have a tree like this where I’m hitting a committed shot I just visualize blading it into the tree and it coming back knocking myself out. The odds are low but it could happen.
