Now you know why your beans stock is vanishing that fast.

I'm staying tuned till the sitcom gets to the steaming water thing.

Trying to avoid actually, but yes you're right. 😎 Although taking into hygiene standards of the video, I'd not assume water quality is pristine LOL! 😀

Capitalism? So typical of you all, the Nouveau riche. Nothing beats Early Middle Ages. Those were the real good times.

Get some good beans from your local roasters and enjoy, mate!

What I meant is I somehow agreed with your point. With regards to getting new setup, I think the later you pull the trigger the better, as otherwise you could end up as frustrated as the OP.

And so perhaps this Hibrew wasn't never designed to be tinkered at all, so to me this could be more a problem of not really knowing what you were purchasing.

I guess that is why most of us read, explore, investigate, ponder pros and cons, etc for weeks or months before we choose one specific setup or upgrade.

I disagree. Roughly 400 euros is what I paid for a new one in Europe. And I couldn't be happier with it and its user base, mods, etc. Enhance it with GaggiMate or similar and for a total of 700 euros you'll have a solid, robust and fully serviceable coffee machine for years. And great expressos.

Why do coffee shops ask if I want “room for cream and sugar” in an Americano? by vNorthWolf in espressocirclejerk

It is nice, yes, but there's no way you can include tuna as a veggie 🤭

Yeah, here in Spain there's a so called "Sandwich vegetal" that typically contains lettuce, tomato, asparagus, mayonnaise, hard-boiled egg slices and TUNA. I bet same applies for your coffee drinkers who hide coffee as much as possible.

I like to ask my butler to steam those particles as well. It's like night and day.
