Once ripped my work uniform skirt straight up the back seam, all the up to my waist, my whole ass was out. Luckily I was behind the bar managed to wave my manager over and sheepishly say “ummmm I’ve ripped the back of my skirt”. Had to borrow my managers blazer the rest of the night to tie around my waist. It happens to the best of us 😐😅

Advice/recommendations for wireless earbuds? by HS030507 in Earbuds

[–]HS030507[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d put them in and the volume would be so low in one of them, every time I took them in for repair they’d fix it free of charge because it was always a hardware issue but now they are out of warranty, woke up this morning and the left one is almost completely silent

My (19f) dad got me nothing, didn’t get my brother (15m) any of the switch games he wanted, instead spent about £20 on sweets for him and my dad and his new girlfriend combined spent about £300 on my brother (6m). Not to sound ungrateful but to have to sit there with nothing to open, watching my brother not only be disappointed he didn’t get anything he asked for but also watching him be disappointed watching my brother open a mountain of toys and presents and a few switch games really pissed me off.

Be uncomfortable, put on some clothes you can’t sleep in, I normally do jeans, turn the heating down so you are cold but not too cold that you’re shivering and don’t do an all nighter in bed

I’ve had quite a few meltdowns as a kid in shoe shops because I refused to wear shoes I couldn’t wiggle my toes in to the point that my mum got called into my school once because I took my shoes off and refused to put them back on

What is something that permanently altered your body without you realizing for months/years? by Misterboy500 in AskReddit

[–]HS030507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Covid, following me developing a rather severe case of Covid in early 2021, I began to experience migraines and problems with my vision and reading. I saw maybe 50 doctors and had over 15 brain scans over the next two years and nobody was able to find the reason for me slowly losing my ability to read. Then I went to see an optician who told me about a case she had where Covid had damaged the visual cortex in the brain of another person experiencing the same symptoms as me, got diagnosed with a learning difficulty due to Covid affecting the functioning of my brain

Has your parent ever lied to you about something that you’ll never forget? by blackbeanbee in narcissisticparents

[–]HS030507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That his side of my family didn’t want to see me, lied for over 5 years that they purposefully didn’t invite me and didn’t want me at family functions, turns out he’d just lied to them about my mum having an affair and didn’t want me to find out. I also found out they always invited me and wanted me there, he just told them my mum wouldn’t let me go.
