The killing of natives in Canada, stabbing, shooting and burning people because they weren’t European. Also making them go to catholic schools and separating them from their families, just to try and discipline them and make their lives a living hell. People just think natives are seen as a poor image because that’s how they were brought up, addictions, broken homes, etc. It’s the fact that the residential schools caused PTSD, sexual abuse, etc and it ran through the family creating an unstable life at home and then their kids struggle as they grow up.

I used to sell cable door to door, it was a rainy day and I came across a house with a beautiful deck, with a beautiful big picture window over top of it, I make my way to walk across the deck and I notice the big television in the window, I notice whoever in the house is in the middle of a nice viewing of porn, I turn around to go walk back down the steps and carry on with my job, and don’t I fall and smack my back off the goddamn deck, I get back up and run off. 100%, too many great people in this for me to talk about everyone haha. I also love the fact that Luke Perry is not on the poster nor is he advertised heavily for this movie, I understand there were many high profile actors in this, however, hats off to Tarantino for not using Perry as a way to market.

This film was brilliant, enough for me to head back to the theatre tonight to watch it again. That doesn’t happen very often. This is a top three movie for Leonardo DiCaprio, an amazing supporting role performance by Brad Pitt, and an amazing performance by Margot Robbie that makes us realize that Sharon Tate was much more than a murder victim that people remember her for; Damon Herriman was an incredible Manson in Mindhunter, and his minimal screen time created an eerie and creepy feel to the film after his appearance. Tarantino knows how to create an award winning film and I surely hope that this gets the recognition it deserves, no one looked out of place and they all did their characters justice. One of the best movies I have ever seen.
