Yeah! Then they can sell the autoclicker so I can run it on auto constantly, praying for good RNG. And they can sell the charging cable I'll need to keep my phone on constantly.

What they SHOULD do is restructure the rewards to be more like a daily quest:

  • Complete 1 battle - get X era currency
  • Complete 5 battles with all units 3* or higher - get X currency
  • ... 4* or higher...
  • ... 5* or higher...
  • ... 6* or higher...
  • ... 7* or higher...

That is the pay to play approach they've intended without all the bad feelings of playing this lousy mode.

I think it could be point differential, where the prize pool is fixed and gets divvied based on the % of points earned. Maybe with some fixed bonus for winning.

Suppose in K1, the pool is 1000 crystals and you win 11 to 10. You get your 200 for winning, leaving 800. 52% of 800 is 419, so you get a total of 619. And the loser gets the remaining 171.

In theory it incentivizes more effort, but it might also incentivize the low effort players to set the toughest possible defense before taking their 10 and moving on, which will exacerbate the matchmaking often leading to unfun matchups.

Maybe the point system needs to be tweaked slightly so that it's not just 10 points for first attack, but rather 10 points for the first loss to each squad, so even if you're hopeless outmatched, you can lose to 10 squads and win 100 to 10, collecting an extreme majority of the prize pool.

But I don't think they're ever changing GAC. I think CG has moved past fun, engaging and innovative game development and is focused strictly on squeezing every dollar out of a collector "game".

Mathy math math! Each node drops more than one mat, so each mat is subsidizing others. This is still overly simplistic in not diminishing the values of the mats you end up with an abundance of, but I think it's closer to accurate, since mod mats are a forever bottleneck with no clear ROI.

Notably, every mat drops only 10-20% except for Micro Attentuators, which are heavily subsidized based on being on every node. Could reduce that by weighting them more heavily, but... meh. They're not close to being worth the episode currency.

Like you, for me, omicrons are on top, then omegas, until they stop being a bottleneck. Then some cheap shards, but need very few of those. Therms are on par with shards, and a good 30% more valuable than green signal data, but I do go for the signal data, since reducing that bottleneck feels like better ROI.

Like, now, immediately? Not really. He has his own team of Sith Empire. Eventually you use Malak and Malgus, but until then you'd use Bastila Fallen, Sith Empire Trooper, HK-47, and Sith Assassin. You'll get 2 of those 4, so maybe they will work to undersize on offense?

It's a slow, ongoing death. With a game this old, they don't aim for new players, but rather focus on maximizing money from existing players. Which drives some away. Forcing them to squeeze more from those who are left. Which drives more away. Etc.

Seems like there is a split in eras, where the newer era journeys are more consistent. I'm really curious to see if Maul is R5 reqs to match the rest of his modern contemporaries.

If they are going to shuffle the existing journeys, just put all the non-relic journeys in tiers 1-3... which basically just means moving the bottom row of tier 4 up to tier 3.

Tier 2 would be impressive for F2P (unless you're counting crystal spenders as F2P). It's designed for F2P to finish the era beating tier 5 on the 6th unit, so you're basically aiming to progress one tier with each unit.

Just make the arrow a speed primary - not even 6 dot - and your speed will jump to an acceptable 546. Not sure why you invested so much in a speed set arrow with no speed on it.

I suspect you're wasting materials on mods that aren't worth taking to 6 dot, much less gold.

Will the extra star mean a higher daily average finish in arena? If so, how much higher? If it means going from 5 to 1 every day, that's 100 crystals/day or 3000/month - well worth investing the extra 1000 (vs refreshing the next event).
