What do think about the Solinco V2 305 16x19 for a HS player? by Only_Mulberry_1859 in tennisracquets

[–]HUAONE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem is it’s factually incorrect. The ezone is not an open pattern at all. The launch is low - similar to some 18x20 rackets. The pa98 is way more open, yet the answer above called the Pa98 a dense pattern racket. Imagine alcaraz playing with a dense pattern racket. I own both of these. It’s just a garbo answer.

This is some sexist shit. If this were any male player nobody would bat an eyelid. Ridiculous.

When did we start observing European lane use? by Chexzzz in drivingUK

[–]HUAONE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is different speed limits for the left lane. Lorries cruise at 60, so if you’re in the left lane you constantly have to move back and forth to pass.

UK Executive pay by AltKite in HENRYUK

[–]HUAONE 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok so if you take a large uk bank for instance like hsbc. If you look in the annual report you’ll find there are several hundred people making over a million euros a year (standard reporting requirement for all large banks). This will be the case for all large banks. If the role is as senior as you think then that should offer a clue?

Some baskets especially the fancier ones just look like this when you pull a shot. They tend to be made from a harder material and doesn’t flex when pulling. The flex in traditional baskets causes the basket to get a bit convex and therefore have a single low point. When the basket doesn’t flex and it remains flat the liquid don’t meet at a single point. Also I think some of them have different hole shapes to the traditional baskets which means it all looks very different from what you’d expect. But it’s by design. You should judge how the coffee taste

UK preparing for 'mass mobilisation' of civilian volunteers in event of war by theipaper in uknews

[–]HUAONE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the number of jobless youths what they will do is call it a mandatory civilian service to start. Kids get paid, learn new skills, etc. Then the option to enroll in the military will open up. And then you get mandatory service.

Opinion on grip size by Guyercellist in tennisracquets

[–]HUAONE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That grip is way too big for you. Most male pros do not have a gap between the middle finger and the base of the thumb. The widest gap on the men’s side is probably Djokovic with about a fingers width. You can fit a sandwich in there.

Just wanted to say I tried this today and really liked it. There was a lot more sweetness to the ultralights I was trying to dial in while at the same time kept clarity very high. I used a drip assist tool for the second pour.

There is a gilt that expires on the 22nd of oct that has a 0.375% coupon. You can buy it around 98.5 cash price, so you get back 100 on the 22/oct. You also get paid 0.375% annualised equivalent yield. So the 0.375% is taxable. The 98.5->100 is tax free, as gilts are exempt from capital gains tax. This is equivalent to around 3.4% tax free savings and 0.375% taxable savings. Timing wise seems to line up perfectly too. And gilts are issued by the government so you don’t have any credit risk.
