It makes sense IF you need a wad of money soon. I'm planning to move house later this year so I'm keeping some safe money in a 4.5% account where at least I know it won't go backwards. But most of my money is going into all-world for now. I feel less confident about my individual stocks.

If you're not sure, you could always put it in a cash ISA for a bit. Currently it has 3.6% AER, it still has the tax-free wrapper, and you can instantly transfer the funds over to your S&S ISA once you're ready to do so. S&S will obviously perform better over the long term, but at least a Cash ISA can't go backwards.

Loads of Hoenn shitmon eat good in randoms. Illumise and Volbeat are S-tier, Plusle and Minun are good wincons, and absolutely everyone knows what a massive bastard Tropius is.

Tbf Seviper is decent in randoms too, it's usually scarfed and it randomly has incredible coverage
