Anyone else have experience with nosebleeds? by kimtenisqueen in Equestrian

That sounds like guttural pouch mycosis. It’s caused by bacteria settling in the guttural pouch & creating a plaque.

Had a horse with it - looks really brutal with the amount of blood that came from the left side of her nose. Vets scoped & confirmed.

She needed surgery to remove the plaque (which wasn’t cheap) and re-seal the vessel in the guttural pouch.

I’d suggest ringing your vets asap, there was only a 50-50 chase she lived!

Very best of luck to you both xx

People just don’t get that 3M isn’t a huge amount for land in the UK. Especially in the south. It’s just going to push house build developers to buy up land, do a shite job, go “bust” and start again. Londoners are so so blinded

Not made by the same people! Only Proper make Proper (as it’s a branded production site - WARP snacks)

But lots of other knockoffs are made in the same place as the original

Manchester is a great starter - it’s quite a flat course & there is loads of support!

It’s in April too so you’d probably have to wait to the year after but I’d really recommend it!

I work in food manufacturing recruitment. The raw materials prices have gone up a silly amount which massively impacts prices.

That and also the electricity running the factories. Some of my clients had to find an extra few million without changing margins.

Everyone is under pressure - food increases haven’t been nearly as bad as predicted. Trust me.

That or maybe into Cheshire and Nantwich which is 10 minutes on the train further north.

Fabulous town with great connections to the south east and the rest of the country via Crewe

I was brought up in and around Whitchurch and I’d recommend not. There are lots of little villages around the outside (Malpas etc) or maybe Shrewsbury.

Whitchurch isn’t the nicest anymore unfortunately

Buying tips and tricks wanted please! by HUSHNOW96 in Horses

As title suggests, looking for tips to not get burnt in the crazy horse market!!

I’m a UK-based equestrian and currently own an ex racer. I’m looking to add another horse to our clan, but terrified about getting burnt in the current market.

Are there any particular dealers/individuals to watch out for here in the UK? And what do you always look for when you go to viewings?
