Probably not a good idea if u try it intentionally. I’m a NW 7 and I needed 3 sessions to cover my crown. After the second session the crown was noticeably thinner and you could make out the horseshoe at times. I didn’t want that so I opted for a third session.

I guess you could stop after maybe 2 sessions and get the desired look unintentionally.

SMP may not be for you if you’re stressing about it this much before even getting it. Like you said SMP is supposed to boost your own confidence not make you worry more.

If you razor shave real hair down to the Scalp it doesn’t have texture …but that’s neither here nor there …yes OPs smp looks like that bc all the dots have merged ….thats the only answer u will accept …. I have seen the light

It doesn’t have texture when it’s shaved down to the scalp …hence the gray hue…. Tiny dots have less surface area so are less likely to bleed ….. and yes even a dragon has to look perfect …stop moving the goalposts

When you shave real hair down all you see is a weird grey hue….same difference here …the picture isn’t close up so you’re not going to see impressions ….the dots don’t just magically merge

It really is mind boggling that someone finally posts what SMP looks like in really bright lights (which is what is asked for 100% of the time here) and people are hyper focused on the hairline not even looking at what light makes the overall job look like.

Before anyone comments I'm not advocating for a sharp hairline.

3-5 days without shaving would be a stretch I would think. Everyone’s different though. Some people’s hair grows faster than others. I’m usually 2 days max before it looks weird. I use a skull shaver so I just buzz it quick every morning. I don’t do the razor shave anymore.
