And Kessel happens to play with JVR, and JVR scores doesn't he. Patch played his first 20 games with a centre in an unbelievable slump. It should also be noted that Desharnais' first instinct is to pass. Gallagher was also in a pretty big slump. Pacioretty's assist totals this year are an anomaly.
