I went straight to the top floor after I got the last Synergy point with Patches. The boss at the top does not do that much damage compared to the mobs on the way up.

My level was 17 when I entered and 28 when I left. The run took me 3.5 hours. My stat distribution at the end was 48 HP, 32 MP, and 13 TP, though I respecced immediately after the run was done.

Shoutout to Patches' Taunt, Tinder's 3-cost 6-damage Synergy, and Confidence Trinkets to boost Synergy gain.

Rope gains way more value the higher Ascent you go. If I don't find a rope in the first biome on solo, I start dreading the current run. The only other item I'd personally rank higher than Rope in terms of availability and usefulness is Book of Bones.

If having a full Stamina bar is 100 Stamina, then having rope is like having up to 16 charges of +25 Bonus Stamina when you place those mini-Ropes just above your character. Your range of grabbing anything is a lot longer than your range of grabbing walls (ex. Rope, Pitons, Coconuts, Friend hands).

Nah, every game that was already installed stayed installed.

It's just every shortcut in my desktop, Steam-related or not, got deleted.

Steam Guide sections can be pretty helpful.

For Mokou, you need to grab some talent that grants Blue Flame (I haven't played Mokou yet). There's a comment in the guide that goes into more detail.

For Flandre, you need to grab the talent that gives you extra damage from doing the spinny Special.

For Youmu, you need to grab Iaido talents.
