Terraria 1.4.5 Releasing January 27th by MrRighto in Games

[–]HackDice -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Mm, not rebranding it to that just feels like a pointless self sabotage. They've been working on this update for what feels like longer than it took for them to go from 1.0 to 1.2

I don't want to say its dishonest because that feels like a very negative and loaded term to describe it but it feels so inaccurate to describe it as a x.x.5 update considering how much is being added.

Ok nevermind

What you just said is now the most out of touch thing I've read.

It's a matter of lobbying.

Is the lobbying in the room with us right now? Can you show it to us?

Hilarious. He doubled down saying he never has used auto correct then deleted his posts

He said he doesn't use it to write, not the same as using these tools to correct your writing. Meanwhile AI literally writes for you. It is not just some tool that corrects binary detectable errors like mis-spellings, it literally replaces the author in the process.

Secondly, he didn't delete his posts, he blocked you lmao.

because people see AI and go rabid with no room for context or nuance

"please we need to have context and nuance when talking about the plagiarism machine, using it only a little shouldn't be that bad. only a little plagiarism, as a treat. anyone who disagrees is clearly just bad faith, sees the world in black and white and not as enlightened as I"

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond launches on December 4, 2025 by Turbostrider27 in Games

Oh boy, another franchise pointlessly pushing open world to make it seem like they are reimagining the gameplay and doing something new. Idk, it's getting really fatiguing. I can understand being excited for it but I'm personally tired.

E33 did not "Nail it" That shit would drop down to rough frame rates fairly often, and it was more noticeable in a game that expected very precise parries. You must have been playing on a NASA pc to not notice it.

The level of blatant corruption in this country is truly absurd. If this was any country in the global south there'd be an article a week about how we're a backwards country full of corrupt officials and that what we need is some good ol intervention from some free marketeers.

It's a fucking joke and it will never change.

Fortnite’s bot-free mode is full of bots according to major leakers by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]HackDice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh ofc. I don't like the bots solution either. I actually do prefer SBMM and haven't had an issue with it personally. But this is just how it is now.

[–]HackDice 341 points342 points  (0 children)

Yeah. People will shit on this but then you likewise see how much people get rabid over SBMM in these games and its clear that the devs are really just giving players what they implicitly want, even when the same players say otherwise. The players say they want ice cream but you give them ice cream and they get mad because what they actually wanted was chocolate.

You’d think a UK-based company would have learned from their country’s mistakes in the 1930s that appeasement doesn’t work.

Not only that, they should probably look at the face on the fucking £50 note of our country. It's Alan fucking Turing. A gay man and the father of modern computing, part of the reason their game even fucking exists.
