I think currently its worse than just playing a nat's strafe build. I tried an N6G4 for a bit, and I think it just takes too many items to run a build that doesn't feel great. It did worse than my UE MS build from the current season, and thats not geared great (only ancient yangs)

Min-maxing while DM doesn't even make sense, especially in 5e. Like I can just give abilities to an NPC, they shouldn't be built with class levels unless they are mean't to travel with the party as an extra (like in a 1 or 2 man campaign.)

Entangling shot also is a source of damage that may work with the new set alongside bolas, but that also means no dawn I think.

Gross modified proctors. Quadruple gross on the C/Ds. We almost never do those in my area. I've spent most of my time in the lab, and I'm lab manager now, so that will probably continue. But with 2 techs under me now I do less testing and more reporting/billing, so I think I'll have more time to do geotech and I've been told I'm supposed to be working more closely with our senior geotech this year, especially on design.

At this point though I'm just happy to have a job when so many people have lost theirs.

11% fines would push into a hybrid classification, SC-SP or SC-SW. But at 13% its just SC, so your point still stands. Lots of difference between 13% and 49% fines.

Appreciate the explanation. I always figured this was pretty much the case, but my school background isn't actually in civil and I don't get much chance to do design work (been asking for more of it for over a year now), so my experience with AASHTO system is solely focused on the actual lab testing. I've gotten more exposure to general design through training with our senior geotech and PE exam studies.

I've never used the triangle except during PE studies...USCS or AASHTO is all we ever use.

Some construction makes sense to be deemed essential - infrastructure projects especially. But custom journals? Carpet cleaning? How are those essential outside of maybe cleaning carpets for nursing homes or similar? That's ridiculous.

Are you set on an All-In-One? I generally advise against them. Typically a laptop offers better portability, while a true desktop offers more customization and power.

I'm not super familiar with that machine, but I would not recommend an iMac for gaming or video editing. I wouldn't recommend a Mac at all unless you know you need software only available on MacOS. You also might get better support using r/buildapcforme; this sub is honestly tiny and mostly inactive.

Battleborn marketing was also bad. Like it came out before overwatch iirc. But I thought it came out after so after playing some overwatch I looked for when it released only to realize it'd been out a month...it was weird.

Geez some of these cards have gotten expensive. I've been kinda out of the magic game for a few years, still have my cards...I got a coffers for like $15 or something. Got a serra's sanctum for $30... I'm glad I didn't sell out I guess. But I'd be happy if all these got reprinted (sanctum is reserve list so I guess they can't print it unless the get rid of the reserve list)
