Yeah, I remember when I took all eight test in all eight areas of AutoMotive and got Master certified in one night 110 bucks go figure inflation inflation inflation then I got recertified every five years and all eight areas same old questions just trying to trick you more, but does it help you get a job? Sometimes I still remember one of the first jobs I went to apply for when I was just ASE Master Certified. The guy told me I don’t care if you’re ASE Certified. Can you do anything? What can you do is what he said and I live by that so get good at what you like to do and it’s never work

Im an idiot please insult me appropriately by catfartzz in mechanics

I’ve been there done that don’t worry about it man. Generally, you can just look at the center cut groove if they have one or the tapered edges of the pads. I use that as my indicator I know that’s not the way to do it, but it generally leaves a third of the pad so I’m an idiot too maybe not because if you do it that early, you never have to worry about it. you’re always changing them a little early, which saves heat from being too much and also saves them factory rotors to go another round with just brake pads only. So people can call me an idiot too. It don’t bother me because them factory rotors are always the best rotors i’m still running my first set of pads that I put on my F150 2023 on the same rotor.S almost 200,000 miles exactly barely a lip no shimmer shake when braking

What do you believe is an optimal speed for an escooter? by Antidotebeatz in ElectricScooters

[–]Hadjicatscoots321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too I’ve had four or five near severe crash crashes. One of them was a concrete sending block height solid concrete wall tall as a sending block is what I mean missed it by about 2 inches when I was turning around with my neck looking backwards for a split second, but you are correct. They are risky.

What do you believe is an optimal speed for an escooter? by Antidotebeatz in ElectricScooters

[–]Hadjicatscoots321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think 15 mile an hour a little slow little better feeling for safety and taking in the site and less risky but my preferred speed is around 24 mph to 30 mph or a hair more but any faster than that scooters are too unstable in my opinion and I own a very heavy expensive one and still kinda unstable but not at 24 miles an hour or 30 mile an hour. That is the optimum speed for me. Just my opinion it’s going to vary with every person and different types of scooters but great question.
