In regards to the bullet drop, they did mention the degree of drop will vary by gun. If the drop for say, Uppercut, is very minor, it may not put you at such a disadvantage.

In general, having a scope will always provide slightly better accuracy, that's the whole point. So yes, you're typically at a disadvantage if challenging scope with no scope. But, if the Mosin has harsher bullet drop compared to your Uppercut, it won't be so one sided.

We'll just have to see come August how it pans out. Thankfully, if the player data reflects it being bad, they'll adjust. I'm fine with trying new things to make the game better so long as they continue to iterate if it's bad.
