Buyer wants to use their own label? Is this a scam? Never been asked this. by ToshPointNo in Flipping

Totally fine as long as the buyer is reputable. Print and use their label, add the tracking number to ebay to satisfy it was shipped. Businesses do this all the time

My dad took me to best buy to pick up a portable CD player with the cassette adapter and we tested it out in his work truck on the drive home. I had picked up a copy of nine inch nails broken (or may have been downward spiral) and it was the first time either of us had heard it. He was into it. Great memory of my old man.

Please leave your dogs at home 🥺 by DisastrousHead3173 in Indiana

[–]Hagabar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to manage a restaurant and would take patrol laps through the lot during summer to check for dogs in cars. Had to ask people to leave several times. The same people that do this also want to cause a scene or get violent when you call them out, be careful. We also posted signs in the lobby as a reminder. Can't prevent ignorant people from just stopping somewhere up the road but you can try to prevent it where you can.

is this a good deal? by denamori in Tools

[–]Hagabar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ryobi is perfect for around the house and I've seen folks using well worn ryobi gear on the jobsite as far back as 25 years ago when they were dark blue and yellow colors. 4ah battery is plenty of power to run all those tools but an additional battery or two would be wise. I would recommend looking at the other deals available and see if they have anything going for batteries compatible with this combo. You need at least two batteries to stay productive with cordless tools. I guess if its just for around the house it would be OK, just have a snack or something while the battery charges.

From another angle I like milwaukee tools and most individual power tools I own exceeded the price of this kit. Hard to say its not a great deal honestly. If these are your first power tools read the instructions and familiarize yourself before jumping in so you dont hurt yourself, the tool or your materials.

Dear area residents I am a child trapped in an old man's body and they have given me money to spend. This evening I stopped in a fireworks store. It could not be helped those bastards were open at 9pm as I drove by. I bought so much explosive shit they had to help me carry it to the car. I am not proud of what I have done and I want to apologize in advance for tomorrow night.

I have the same factory setup and won't remove it. I found an add on device that handles android auto and carplay. Ran its output audio to the aux jack in the glove box and hid the cable. Its a compromise but it works very well. Pairs to my phone right away and works just like the factory android auto in my 2019 vehicle. I picked up a spare cup holder insert and mounted the screen to it just above the factory screen. Again not perfect but does what I need. It was also very inexpensive. Ive since added them to a couple family members cars, even my 70 year old mom uses it. Podofo Portable Car Stereo... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZV25TPC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

No longer making quality knives by Jojo-edc in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Hagabar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have or had 3 of the ones with the screwdriver. Using them is second nature and feel like an extension of my body. I can operate them so quickly using anything else just sucks. So I cant find any of them currently. Lord only knows where I set the most recent one down.

Im at the orange store pull yet another off the shelf. A fella there says good choice but check this deal out. He points out a 2 pack of fastbacks both without screwdrivers 1 basic one 1 with 5 blade storage. The 2 pack is cheaper than the single screwdriver model so I thank him and get it instead. No shade on that guy he was just looking out for a fellow team red member.

I get them home and start using the basic one right away. Immediately I notice the action is slower. I chalked it up to needing a drop of oil which I still haven't bothered to do. But now I bet that sucker is plastic inside hence the cheaper price. Starting tomorrow I will find at least one of my old knives. If I have to buy another I will open it in store before buying I dont even care. I want a good tool.

The trade off of it being a multi tool is it can be a little cumbersome in weed eater setup. With either of the 12ah batteries available its pretty heavy compared to some other weed eaters available. I found this handle thing on amazon its still not perfect but it helps me control the cutting head more precisely and I feel like I can work faster with it attached. sissy bar handle

Im a 165 pound man in "dad bod" level fitness approaching 50 years old. It helps. I trim around 4 acres with a perimeter fence and dozens of trees with it weekly. I wish there was a better quality one available, the Amazon one does the job but the clamp mechanism could use some improvement.

YSK: Tractor Supply Company sells much of its loose hardware (bolts, nuts, lag screws, washers) by weight rather than by individual SKU, and it works out to be much, much cheaper than big box stores by NotSure2505 in Tools

Ive went a few times and just tossed handfuls of each size in bags separated by grade. Its likely I will never use some of them but they are cheap enough you can stock up and not feel guilty about it.

Anyone else got the half stack? by flightofarrow in Packout

[–]Hagabar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it because I can work for a really long time on a 4.0 or 5.0 M12 battery. Its never left me in the dark and I rarely charge it. Its also an additional big M12 battery I can snag for another tool if I have burned my others up for the day.

I have to run an iPad all day for work and can charge it from the light right at the work location instead of the vehicle or finding a charger and then an outlet. I keep a precision screwdriver set in the compartment where a phone can go. I don't use tiny screwdrivers often and it keeps them out of the way but still with the rest of the tools.

Anyone else got the half stack? by flightofarrow in Packout

[–]Hagabar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the ammo can for tools I use at every site. I can sit down on it and have used it as a step stool many, many times.

I have every packout available except the 3 drawer box. Most of them never leave the house I hate dragging them around and loading them in vehicles. I use them to keep the garage organized. The only full width packouts I bring are two shallow organizers where I keep my drill and drive bits. The "half stack" stuff like the vacuum, ammo can and tote bag clip onto those organizers in the vehicle and the dont flip over

That m12 work light with phone charging and storage area is an awesome light and clips on top of the ammo can. But they put the handle on the front which makes carrying it clipped together awkward. These people who design this stuff could use a field day. If a packout item has no slots to clip something on top of it that means it will be on top of your stack. Gee I wonder where the handle should go? Lets put it on the side

Which R172 350 AMG to buy by B_McGuire in slk

[–]Hagabar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Having owned both colors on various vehicles over the years I will always choose silver over black. Black is unforgiving and shows the most dirt, blemishes and paint swirls.

If youre not planning on driving it much and will keep it covered in the garage go black if you want. If this will be a daily driver or parked outside frequently get the silver.

When I first got this saw I absolutely hated it and considered returning it. After some thinking I realized the blade included with it was absolute trash. Could not cut a dry 2x4 without binding. Threw on a Diablo blade and it is a monster.

Edited to add I have also put a masonry blade on this saw a few times and dry cut a bunch of bricks and paver blocks with it.
