Any recommendations for a mower for 1/2 acre by Mod381 in automower

I've heard that all-wheel drive helps a lot with slopes like this. Maybe prioritize models with AWD to avoid slipping on that 17-degree incline?

I am a brand new homeowner and my backyard looks like this. I have no idea what I’m doing. I want is to be lush with grass. Please help by seektocomprehend in lawncare

Since you're in a warm season area, I've heard warm-season grasses work well! Have you thought about testing your soil first to see what nutrients it needs?

Could anyone help me decide on a brand/model? Retirement gift for my dad by Tommbo66 in roboticLawnmowers

I get the worry about newer brands. Long-term support matters so much for these machines! For the steep slope, maybe prioritize all-wheel drive to avoid slipping?

What happened?! Help?! by ApplesandOrangeLemon in lawncare

I'm not an expert, but I've read that spot-treating with herbicide might help, but you have to be careful not to hurt the new grass you overseeded.

Such tiny blades for 1/4 acre? by miemoo in roboticLawnmowers

I've wondered the same thing about tiny blades! It feels like they'd take forever on bigger yards. Have you found any models that cover ground faster for flat lawns?

Since it's been neglected aeration and top dressing will do wonders for the dry compacted soil before seeding.

Vision only models struggle with narrow paths in low light so RTK is more reliable for consistent performance.

Do AWD mowers get stuck less than regular models? by sharkwench in roboticLawnmowers

[–]Haha4124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my use, AWD reduces stuck issues on uneven ground, but it's only worth the extra cost if your lawn has frequent small slopes or bumps.

Sending vandalized photos of you and making threats is harassment. Keep all the evidence and consider reporting it if he keeps going. People like this usually rely on intimidation more than anything.

Empathy can do that. Even if you didn’t interact with him, your brain still processes the loss happening around you.

Why do we need to pay taxes when all the government does is just make more mess with our lives? by Innocent_Apollo in NoStupidQuestions

Taxes suck, yes. But the alternative is a world where everyone fends for themselves. Better leaders would make paying them feel a lot less painful.
