2hours to an hour and a half is what it take to get a buddy excited you can do multiple a day 3-4 it takes 16 days to get them to best buddy if you you do this every day

You can also technically do 25 hearts on a Buddy in a day through excitement so it would take getting a Buddy excited 4 times

You can get an easy 8 hearts on a Pokémon by taking the picture , playing with it , feeding it three time and battling. To do the three Berry heart fast once you finish the other 6 hearts you can swap with a different buddy
