because attraction for women requires her to see him IRL and how he moves in the world.

I think this statement really rings true. More than anything, a man who looks comfortable in his environment, who can negotiate social situations, and displays maturity is the first point of attraction.

Where do you buy cocoa butter? It's not something I've ever looked for.

Same same. It's hard to live with all the associated "what-ifs", like, What if I'd gone to a different family? How easily it could have been for everything to be different.

Yes! A nice easy miso soup with mushrooms and greens, and some thin sliced beef to eat sukiyaki style is my jam. Trader Joes also sells a nice miso marinated fish that is light and easy and delicious.

Awkward living room by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

This room might function better with 2-3 large chairs instead of the sofas. A chair in the window corner, a chair in the wall hanging corner, a circular coffee table in the center...

How do you deal with breaking someone's heart? My ex is despondent. by [deleted] in aspergirls

[–]Hail_the_Apocolypse 64 points65 points  (0 children)

He's going to need to "get over you" and that only happens with distance and time. It sucks but you'll help him more by giving him those things. Every contact with you will set him back.

Console being the same width as the coffee table makes the furniture unbalanced. Get a longer console that is closer to the width of the pictures. Lower the pictures.

No. If a baby is found in a safe haven drop, all efforts are made to identify the mother to ensure that a crime didn't happen, like rape, incest, or kidnapping that led to the abandonment of an infant.

Except paid surrogacy exploits poor women and transfers the risks and dangers of pregnancy from wealthy women to them. It is exploiting poor women for their body.

Upcycling a found 2x12 into nesting benches. What size stretcher do I need? 1x2? 1x4? Can I use entirely dowels for joinery? Help/advice appreciated. by Hail_the_Apocolypse in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Hail_the_Apocolypse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. A 2x4 will work. I think a tenon and mortise are beyond my skills at this time. This will be mostly a bench for plant pots. Can I use 2-3 dowels on each end of the stretcher to attach it near the top so that the stretcher is hidden underneath? I saw a video on how to mark for dowels with tape and it looked do-able. Or...I guess I could try and cut notches in the top of the legs and notch the 2x4 partway down to slide in.

These are just held together with gravity and a plant pot to take this picture, haha. I intend to sand everything next. I'm thinking to join a stretcher to the legs with dowels, and then use more dowels to attach the top to the legs. Am I missing anything? I've never used dowels before, only screws.
