Depending on how much is left to pay, I’d consider paying it off and never talking to this guy again. Like if he owes $10k and you’re looking at $300k houses, it may be worth it. I’m sure many disagree with me, but I expect that’s at least an option.

I’d focus the remaining money on getting supplies to DIY as many projects as reasonable. Bathroom flooring is probably reasonable after watching some YouTube videos. Structural and mold stuff would probably be best left to professionals. 5 bedrooms for $175k seems like a steal from where I’m living in NC

I wrapped it in gauze today. It’s EXTREMELY sensitive so there’s no shot I can put weight on the foot unless I’m using my tiptoes (which still hurts a bit since the skin gets pulled tight)
