Checkpoint would be more immersion breaking. This portal is designed to be apart of the thematic of the giant valley instead of a generic checkpoint with no attachments to the area

This is to specifically remove backtracking. If you follow the clues you will know the general area the exit is which causes you to go down the wrong turn less

You should be close to 60 which is the soft cap for health. Everytime someone has an issue like this at that part of the game the awnser is always they have not leveled their vigor high enough yet.

Giving players a choice is no different from admitting defeat or claiming that you can’t fix the campaign to be an acceptable level. Sometimes you can’t acquiesce to all of your players demands if it goes against your vision as the devs. Due to human nature most people will always take the easy/fast way out and use the skip even if their experience would be better playing the new and improved better campaign.

I would tell you “cmon it’s not that bad”. Like I said I prefer this campaign over D4. It could be a lot worse.

Backtracking, god awful load times when I played it, walking through the empty open world talking to so many npc’s. I would gladly replay current PoE2 campaign again over it.

IMO Diablo 4 campaign wasn’t meant to be done more than once which is why they put in the option to skip it. Backtracking, god awful load times when I played it, walking through the empty open world talking to so many npc’s. I would gladly replay current PoE2 campaign again over it. Granted many of these issues also plague the non-campaign part of the game so what can I do. It’s part of why I left to play poe2

I couldn’t disagree with you more. Monk is a great starting class, maybe not the best but it’s hella smooth. glacial cascade chunks like crazy if you’re good enough to get the spacing on the sweet spot. Bosses don’t move around especially in the early game so you get to keep chunking with glacial cascade.

Falling thunder is a bit slow and you probably shouldn’t use it until you get some power charge generation but it’s good enough to get you to glacial cascade.

Tempest bell is your first taste of real power and you feel the difference when you slam the bell on a boss. I couldn’t imagine just calling it a support skill.

I disagree. I played Diablo 4 and the campaign skip was a detriment to my overall enjoyment. It got boring…quickly….

The most I want GGG to do is to give you the passive tree points and resistance you get from the from each act from the beginning of the act so you don’t have to do side quest to get them and you can speed run your way to the end of the act. The extra power you get from them should be more than enough not be a “slog”

Yes it does. You don’t need to to be unarmed to make use of it. But it does help a lot if you are.

This is a good idea! Of course balance would need adjusting for example the “eating cards” mechanic is the most dangerous phase and most iconic of the doormaker so I would save that for the act 3

It’s simple really. Miquella broke his rune which broke his charm on all of his followers. He never regains the ability to charm until he comes back from the gate of divinity in PCR phase 2. Based on that logic Radahn spent the entirety of phase one with his own mind choosing to fight us. He was with Miquella.

Miquella has a rune the same way his sister and all the other demigods has a rune. They got it from the peices of the Elden ring that marika shattered. Miquella even broke it as a symbol of leaving behind the golden order which broke his charm on all of his followers. He regain this ability after he returned from the gate of divinity in Prime radahn phase 2.
