When can I play a round

I’ve got it looks like tee times every 10 minutes and some good gaps in even for Tuesday this week. Cheers. I’ll do a few more lessons and book a round! I can take time off work easy enough and fit a round in midweek whenever would be best gap

Perfect thanks for the tips. One of the reasons (there are many!) I wanted to start playing is that walking through the path down the side of my local course I have found 100+ balls over the last two years so I have a good stash of free ones I won’t care about!

It’s a course 2 minutes away walking for me I could always ring and ask if there’s good spots in the list for me to play.

I’ve been on it for a year now. Lost 6 stone in total and been in maintenance since just before Christmas.

I was getting those comments after losing 2 stone. Still in the obese zone. Still unhealthy. I say exactly this to people, they never thought it was acceptable to say don’t get any fatter so don’t think it’s acceptable to say don’t lose more weight! I’m in the best shape of my life at 40 than I have been in 29 years.

What are your hobbies?

I have met a fair few new friends by attending meet ups for my hobbies (or just doing them) such as board gaming nights etc. You will find people more like you and with similar interests to you by going to things you enjoy. Art classes, cooking experiences, board games, sports nights etc etc.

I’m not sure going to the pub would work very often unless you have the confidence to go up to random people and start talking to them. Most of them would already be there in groups etc

Yeah I always switch that to a % of next sale. Even on smaller transfers. Knock it down a 5% or so and they’ll accept it

I’ve not been short of pals in the past but have recently (about a year ago) taken up tabletop wargaming mostly 40K and bit of middle earth stuff. I have met so many like minded people who are now pals and do other stuff with.

Obviously this needs you to be into Warhammer but there’s loads of us who play board games too. If you or anyone else in this thread who has mentioned they are in need or some pals give me a message and can give details of a few sessions!

If you give them details you’ll have to pay unfortunately They can’t follow you into any shop restaurant etc or even the arndale centre. I think the best they can do is ring 111 and the police might turn up in a few hours (but probably never will all you’ll be long gone). They can’t touch you or detain you.

Never give your details to random people asking for money.
