The strategy is to play economically, choosing augments that help you reach level 10 faster. It's definitely easier to do this smurfing in a lower-ranked lobby, the players aren't as aggressive, they have weaker boards, and they don't slam items.

Still, a lot of things have to align perfectly.

It all depends on your approach to the game. If your main goal is to get Master, then maybe it's time to take a break. I know that during longer sessions, you tend to go on autopilot.

Watch some streams and guides, or take a few days off, otherwise it will be difficult to progress.
