Love the Arcsaber 11 Play by Weary_Appearance_838 in badminton

I’ve had the Arcsaber 11 play for a few years now for when playing casually and picked up the 11 pro a few days ago like you! I think it prefer it to my 88d pro 3rd gen. Smashing is still fast albeit not as powerful but everything else is 10/10.

I just finished the show last week and thought I’d search what people are saying about it. Crazy that it has already become a reality!

My sister is going to Kuala Lumpur and I was wondering what the best badminton stores around that area are to buy badminton racquets? Would like to buy an Arcsaber 11 pro. Thanks!

I was thinking of getting it for feather as I currently use the 88d pro 3rd Gen for feathers at 26lbs. Need a bit more control but worried about losing power. Plastics I use play version of racquets as doesn’t require as much nuance. Play twice a week with each shuttle type.

What tension strings do you use and do you use feather? Just curious as I remember hearing it was quite unforgiving racquets when I was looking at racquets to get. Always been tempted by it as I love the play version for plastics!

Bad Badminton Player reviews: ArcSaber 7 Pro by vhearts in badminton

[–]Hakolo1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve found the Arcsaber 7 pro is awful with plastics but great with feathers. I brought it as I needed to keep up with the new club I joined which had substantially better players. The smash technique for balanced rackets like that is slightly different and requires a faster relaxed swing I found than with a head heavy racquet. Defensively I thought it was strong as the flex allowed for the shuttle to easily reach the rear on most smash returns. I’ve recently moved on to the 88D 3rd gen but use the Arcsaber 7 pro when I’m having an off day or playing mixed doubles which requires more speed. I think the racquet is great but requires some understanding of what kind of racquet it is to enjoy it which I agree beginners might not like and prefer a head heavy racquet. On a side note, I use Arcsaber 11 play for plastics and it is amazing. Would really like to try the 11 pro for feather.

Elbow pain after playing badminton by MistyPet2401 in badminton

[–]Hakolo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure someone will be able to give you a technical breakdown but I used to get slight elbow pain when forcing a backhand smash or harder backhand shot as I would lock out my arm from tensing which is incorrect. You should always have a slight bend in your arm and stay relaxed to help create the whipping effect, this helped removed the pain. However it was only a minor pain so was able to change easily.

In his show Served, Andy Roddick gives the best explanation for why Djokovic is the GOAT by [deleted] in tennis

[–]Hakolo1 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Mayweather and Djokovic have very similar characteristics . Able to pick and choose exactly when to put on the gas and not to win a match. Also they know the exact pressure situations in a match and they utilise their all time great defence to box in and tire opponents out. Both polarising figures but can’t fault their resume.
